It’s not every day Jimmy Curtis drops an EP, so we had to celebrate it in style. Teaming up with The House of Slocabaia, the multidisciplinary fashion label and community-driven platform, we hosted an exclusive listening party at Starbuck, De Pijp, Amsterdam.
The goal? To give Jimmy’s true supporters a first taste of Globality ahead of its 2026 release. Industry professionals joined the experience, and even a few curious passersby were drawn in, pulled by the energy that filled the space from the very first beat.
Larisa da Veiga graced the night as hostess, while DJ Payn set the tone with a dynamic, magnetic energy that carried through every track. Guests got an early look at the first capsule of Jimmy Curtis merchandise, created in collaboration with The House of Slocabaia. It was a night of connection, music, and style, a true reflection of Jimmy’s journey and the universe of Globality.

Larisa Da Veiga is an energetic presenter, host, MC and the proud Queen of Rotterdam Summer Carnival 2024. With her infectious enthusiasm and magnetic presence, she brings rhythm to any crowd and sparks smiles on even the most indifferent faces. Her warm personality and sense of humor breaks down barriers, opening space for meaningful conversations about personal growth and empowerment.
Born in 1995, Larisa studied Journalism before earning her Bachelor of Arts in Communication. As a creative and performer, she combines substance with entertainment, delivering stories that engage, inspire, and empower. She has collaborated with BNNVARA, Omroep Zwart, NPO FunX, Rotterdam Unlimited Summer Carnival, and the City of Utrecht.

DJ Payne, a dynamic force in the Amapiano scene and Jimmy Curtis’s official DJ. Known for his infectious energy and ability to read the crowd, Payne creates a vibrant, no-judgement zone where music connects everyone on the dance floor. His signature grooves and uplifting spirit make him the perfect closer for a night celebrating rhythm, creativity, and community.
